The Queenstown Golf Club situated on the Kelvin Heights Peninsula was recently voted the most scenic golf course in New Zealand and is internationally renowned as one of the world’s most picturesque. The course was also chosen as one of the original AA 101 “Must-do activities” whilst travelling throughout New Zealand.

This picture perfect 18 hole course is surrounded on three sides by the pristine alpine waters of Lake Wakatipu with the rugged Remarkables in the background. Rolling hills and water features create a fantastic arena for golf and the surrounding mountains can easily distract the golfer from the most important thing, keeping the ball on the fairway!

The 6103m, 18 hole, par 72 course has a combination of challenging, scenic and unique holes laid out across the head of the Peninsula overlooking Queenstown. The course provides a stern test of golf and boasts many tricky slopes and some fine dog-leg holes that require driving accuracy. The greens are true and a good speed, whilst the fairways are kept in impeccable condition throughout the year. The signature 5th hole is regarded as one of the outstanding holes in New Zealand. The sunny Peninsula location offers the best golfing conditions throughout both summer and winter.
Queenstown Golf Club plays host to the Club Car Australasian Legends Tour.
