Jacks Point is very a popular golf course, and is often listed as one of the best 50 golf courses in the world by GolfDigest.com. It usually ranks in the top three golf courses in New Zealand.

Jacks Point won the prestigious global tourism IAGTO 2019 Sustainability Award for Nature Protection. This award shows how much effort has gone into protecting the environment while also building homes and a village nearby.
