The Jacks Point golf course is bounded by the Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu. It traverses through wetland to the lake edge encountering steep bluffs, indigenous vegetation and wildlife. It is designed to work with nature, not against it. Fairways are designed with minimal excavation and careful plantings to complement the natural environment, but also to give the golfer a fighting chance.
Jack’s Point has 4 tee positions to be enjoyed by golfers of all levels, and plays long off the back tees at over 7,200 yards. Fairways are generous in places but strategic narrow sections make it a placement golf course. Get too aggressive and you can be made to suffer! For those lucky enough to have played the course, you’ll discover that course knowledge is useful for a good score.

Jack’s Point golf course is Queenstown’s newest course and is the center piece of the Jack’s Point development under the Remarkables mountain range. Our tour directors were involved in the construction of the course and have intimate knowledge of the layout and features.
The course is bounded by the Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu. It traverses through wetland to the lake edge encountering steep bluffs, indigenous vegetation and wildlife.
It is designed to work with nature, not against it. Fairways are designed with minimal excavation and careful plantings to complement the natural environment, but also to give the golfer a fighting chance. Although the course has tee positions for all levels of golfer, it is considered a very challenging course and requires skill to negotiate the many hazards it possesses.
