The Wanaka Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole course located above the township of Wanaka, with stunning views of Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. It is a popular destination for members and visitors alike, with high-quality course maintenance.

Established in 1922, the course has expanded over the years and continues to attract golfers to Central Otago.

The front nine of the golf course offers views of Lake Wanaka and mountains, while the back nine has tree-lined fairways with views of Mt Iron, Mt Gold, and the Cardrona Valley. The course is playable year-round due to Wanaka's climate and is surrounded by snow-capped peaks in winter.

Wanaka Golf Club is home to 1000 members and hosts plenty of happy holidaying green fee players. Course maintenance is of a very high standard here and as Central Otago continues to grow as a golfing destination so too does Wanaka Golf Club.

The Wanaka Golf Course was established in 1922 down in the common. It then moved up the hill in the 1930’s extending to Faulks Terrace and Stone Street then in 1967 nine holes were established across the road in Wanaka Station.
